During winter when there’s plenty of snow outside, kids can let their imaginations run wild and build snow sculptures. The spaces next to the house are ideal for  watching over the kids while you’re comfortably warm inside, judging their sculptures and creations.

Just 10 minutes away by car you can dive into adventure at the wakeboarding park located on Pastovis lake in the Molėtai region. There are three equestrian centres around the homestead. Pick a trail that’s best suited for your family and go exploring the scenery on horseback. You can discuss the difficulty, duration and prices of the trails directly with the equestrian centre. We will provide any contact details you need.

In the Molėtai region you will discover museums that have accumulated valuable collections and are always presenting new exhibitions. Our favorites are: historic vehicles and other fascinating exhibitions in the Molėtai automotive museum, the impressive Antanas Truskauskas nature and hunting museum bas well as the famous Alantos manor museaum. Other notable mentions are the ELake fishing museaum, Molėtai district museum and Molėtai district traditional crafts centre.

That’s why we have made a list of the most impressive locations so that you can satisfy your desire to explore nature and discover wonderous places like Ščiūrio horn, Kraujeliai or Lakaja rock, Varniškiai oak or Joniškės lime,  Kertuoja mound ar Triušiukai valley. The detailed list will be provided as we prepare for your arrival. It really doesn’t matter what you choose – you will have no doubts that Lithuania has a lot to offer. If you’re feeling adventurous and could use some extra adrenaline in your system – try the flight over Labanoras regional park forests and lakes. You can take a small plane, helicopter or air balloon – the choice is yours. More detailed information is provided, just let us know.

Mindūnai observation tower rises 36m above Labanoras park. And overlooks around ten kilometres of unique scenery. Climbing the tower is not difficult and is easy for children. The views are breath taking. The observation tower is just 9km away from the homestead and it will take you only 10 minutes by car or two hours on foot.

It’s rare to imagine a vacation without culinary discoveries. We have tried all the interesting local places and recommend only the best. In Labanoro restaurant, which is part of the European culinary heritage network you might want to try seasonal dishes with locally picked mushrooms. Gaidelių homestead offers fish soup, smoked lake fish or wheat pancakes which are made according to old recipes from the highlands of Lithuania. Lastly, Cepelinų gryčią was recommended by Užkalnis, so a visit there is a must.

Going on a paddle boarding adventure

Guests are offered four Bluefin paddleboards free of charge: two 10,8 feet and two 12 feet long. If you’ve never tried paddle boarding, don’t feel intimidated because it’s not that difficult and doesn’t require any preparation. We will show you the best water trails and you’ll be able to go on a journey across Jauris and other surrounding lakes. Also, our Cruise and Cruise Carbon paddles are considered to be one of the best in the world (a, b, c, d). Just sayin' :)

There is a big, flat lawn in front of the homestead, perfect for an improvised game of football with kids or friends. We’ll set up the goalposts and may the best team win!

Test your endurance and balance by kayaking on one of many water trails in Labanoras’ lakes, rivers and streams. We will assist you in choosing the difficulty, duration and kayak rentals. All you have to do is set the time and the price.

We know how important it is for parents to have somewhere their kids can expend their never-ending energy. Thus, we have created an exciting orientational game within the fenced territory of the homestead. During the game, the children will be able to feel like real treasure hunters while you are able to relax and enjoy some time for yourself.

Swimming in Jauris lake

The bottom of Jauris lake is shallow, sandy and looked after, making it ideal for kids and adults to swim in. Jauris lake is not too big so the water warms up from late Spring. The homestead has swimming aids for kids so that everyone can feel safe and enjoy themselves.
