Prepare to act bravely
The kids spent all morning playing on the lake shore, then they switched to hide-and-seek in the canyon, then came lunch and the playground shenanigans continued into the evening. The adults spent the first part of their day exploring the shores of Jauris lake, then they biked to Mindūnai observation tower and back. We managed to visit the Molėtai wakeboarding park and for lunch we made everyone some barbeque ribs. After that we just spent the evening in the gazebo with some music and drinks. Later we built a tent camp right next to the birches, we cooked some sausages over the fire, told some adventure stories and then gazed at the stars.
Just let yourself be
As you close your eyes you can see faint reflections of Jauris lake, shining just above the mighty logs of the sauna. The rustling of birches and sounds of hundreds of birds blend into the symphony of Summer. Gusts of wind are brushing against the hair of children playing football, as the wind joins them in their game. You are peacefully reading your favourite book, relaxing on the hammock as a delightful aroma coming from the charcoal grill makes you put down the book. A spontaneous evening hike through the trails of Labanoras and an improvised picnic on the shore of the lake crowns this wonderful day. When the children are fast asleep, you find your own cosy place next to the fireplace, as you’re listening to records and having quiet conversations until sunrise.
